Week 8
A second post in one day! I'm sure the blog gods will be much happier with me.
This week we play MIIS. Another team that is much better than us. They have a guy on their team known to us as "Jason". He's really good. He can kick hard. One of his shots sprained Chris G's wrist a season or two ago. MIIS also has one of the coolest named players ever, Ocean. What a cool name!
MIIS has such a small amount of respect for our team that they are going to play us right after they play DLI. This should even things up as they should be almost as exhausted in the second half as we are. We are going to be hurting a little bit in the personnel department with Richard out for the season, Jacob's comeback at least another week away and Kristian questionable with that nagging groin injury. I don't know what our strategy is going to be. I have missed all practices and meetings for the past 2 weeks because work has been hopping lately. Hopefully next week I can get back on track.
This looks like it may be our best chance of the season for a win until we play International again. Reports are that Carlos was hopping mad at the utter lack of respect this team has for us. Carlos, have you been paying attention out there on the field, man? We haven't done anything to earn anyone's respect! Well, maybe this will be the game.
